TourTurf® TAG Turf Amenity Granules 3-1-2 + 2 % Fe (Tee Grade)

11089FG

TourTurf® TAG is a 100% organic NPK-fertiliser and a soil improver. Contains magnesium and wetting agent material, so it stimulates both the soil and the plant. The product has a good ‘Green Up’ effect. The product should be used in autumn and spring and during other wet periods. TourTurf® TAG is co-formulated with lignosulphonate, to make a convenient dustreduced granule. TourTurf® TAG is used to significantly improve the playing surfaces on greens, tees, fairways and football pitches at times of plant stress.

TourTurf® TAG is made of a plant-based material derived from upcycled Camellia sinensis oil seed cake. Can be used 1-2 times a year at the time of aeration. Water-in after application or apply before rain fall. Thereafter, the material can be brushed into the aeration holes with a drag net.

Due to the high organic matter content in the material, it is possible to provide the soil with slow release healthy nutrition and soil improvement steadily over a 6‐8 week period.

TourTurf® TAG provides organic matter, amino acids and carbon to the soil, which will stimulate nutrient uptake by the plants and it will work as a fertiliser enhancer too, promoting a healthy sward with a strong root system.

TourTurf® TAG can also be applied before snowfall as an anti-stress agent and to improve conditions that helps the turf withstand pressure from fungal diseases.

Product details

TourTurf® TAG is a 100% organic NPK fertiliser and a soil conditioner which improves the playing surfaces on greens, tees, fairways and football pitches significantly at times of plant stress. TourTurf® TAG can be used on all types of other amenity areas as well. Contains magnesium and wetting agent material, so it stimulates both the soil and the plant. The product has a good ‘Green Up’ effect as well. The product should be used in autumn and spring and during other wet periods.

TourTurf® TAG is made of a plant-based material derived from Camellia sinensis. It can be used 1-2 times a year at the time of aeration. Water-in after application or apply before rainfall. Thereafter, the material can be brushed into the aeration holes with a drag net.

Due to the high organic matter content in the material, it is possible to provide the soil with slow-release healthy nutrition and soil improvement steadily over a 6‐8 week period.

TourTurf® TAG provides organic matter, amino acids and carbon to the soil, which will stimulate nutrient uptake by the plants, and it will work as a fertiliser enhancer, promoting a healthy sward with a strong root system.

Organic fertiliser and soil improvement for all types of soil!

Benefits of TourTurf® TAG:

  • Improves all turfgrass areas
  • Beneficial as a fertiliser and as a soil improver on any type of soil
  • Mini granule 1-2.5 mm for ease of Application
  • Contains natural wetting and penetrating agents
  • Slow-release formula, feeding the plants up to 6 weeks after application

Fatty Acids:
Fatty acids are key building blocks of cell membranes, they benefit turf by enhancing its cell membrane structure and giving it structural stability.

Strong cells make turf more resistant to environmental stress like foot traffic or turf pathogens.

By improving the cell membrane structure, fatty acids can help turf retain more water, improving drought tolerance and reducing the need for frequent irrigation.Fatty acids can play a role in regulating physiological responses and help the plant to react to heat stress.

Healthy cell membranes are necessary for nutrient uptake, enabling turf to access water and nutrients more effectively.

Some research suggests that certain fatty acids could have antifungal properties, potentially helping to make the plant more resilient against certain turf diseases. Some fatty acids can function as signalling molecules, triggering the plants response to disease. The final report from the TourTurf® STA, FDC & TAG turf quality trial at Oregon State University shows the potential TAG has to strengthen turf resiliency while facing Fusarium (Microdochium Patch), the most detrimental turf pathogen for cool season grass in Northern Europe.

TourTurf® TAG is compatible with beneficial entomopathogenic nematodes and can be used together for sports, turf and amenity use.
