TourTurf® Eco Universal is an organic-mineral NPK fertiliser for use on larger sports turf areas, where the environment and budget play a role in the maintenance.
The product may be used as fertiliser in sports and park facilities and fairways where environmental care and an environmentally friendly approach is required.
The fertiliser contains both organic nitrogen together with urea and ammonium. This, combined with the large amount of organic material means that the fertiliser can be applied without risk of burning the turf. The combination of nitrogen sources enables the product to provide a slow-release effect on the turf growth.
A positive side effect is that the fertiliser will last longer and be less sensitive to being washed out from heavy rain or irrigation. The product contains natural soil improvers in the form of amino acids that strengthen the root system and promotes a healthy soil life.
It also provides an ideal opportunity to apply organic material on larger, sandy areas of sports turf.

TourTurf® Eco Universal is an organic-mineral NPK fertiliser with 16% nitrogen (N) designed for use on larger turf areas where environmental awareness and budget limitations influence decision making.
TourTurf® Eco Universal provides an ideal opportunity to apply organic material on larger, sandy areas of turf, such as sports fields, parks and fairways.
The product is rich in carbon. The organic material gives the fertiliser a slow-release effect and enhances the soil microbial life, which in turn enhances plant growth.
A positive side effect is that the fertiliser will last longer and is less sensitive to being washed out from heavy rain or irrigation.
The use of the product will result in short-term fertilisation and immediate soil quality enhancement, which will eventually increase the resilience of the soil and plants to environmental stress and the wear and tear of the playing surface.
Carbohydrates serve as energy source for the soil microorganisms in order to increase microbial activity.
About 50% of a plant is made up of carbon, mostly synthesised from CO2 during photosynthesis. Carbon is the basis for all building blocks of life and essential for healthy soils.

Amino acids are the building blocks for plant proteins. The plant will combine amino acids to form peptide chains and later complex proteins. All the processes in the plant like tissue development, growth, recovery from injury and self-defence require proteins.
The turf plant can synthesise all the needed amino acids from the mineral nutrients it takes in. But the plant can absorb amino acids through the roots as well, saving the energy to produce them itself, especially in times of plant stress.
Over time, microorganisms in the rootzone will break down amino acids into their components, making nutrients readily plant available.
The product is low in chlorine.
The product is made of animal and vegetable by-products like meat bone meal, ureic nitrogen, ammonium sulphate, blood meal, potassium chloride, vinasse-extract, dried chicken manure, iron sulphate, magnesium oxid.
Contains animal by-products cat. III and processed manure cat. II.
