TourTurf® Organic Bio Fos is an organic-mineral NP fertiliser with microorganisms, nitrogen and water-soluble phosphorus that is easily and quickly available for the plant.
Phosphorus deficiency can adversely affect the formation of new roots and root hairs. Thanks to its special phosphorus content, the fertiliser is especially suitable as a pre-seeder, and in situations where fertiliser analyses show that there is a need for extra phosphorus.
The beneficial microorganisms help to release nutrients in the soil, and they counteract and compete with the harmful microorganisms found in the soil.
Counteracts phosphorus deficiency in all situations. Particularly suitable as fertiliser for target fields and for application before laying turf rolls. The natural phosphorus in the product strengthens the root system.Use in goal areas for optimised rooting.

The beneficial TourTurf® Organic Bio Fos microorganisms help to release nutrients from the product and the soil, as well as competing with harmful soil microorganisms, so counteracting their effects.
Rectifies phosphorus deficiency, in plants, in all situations.
Particularly suitable as a fertiliser for goal mouths on soccer pitches where ‘wear and tear’ is obviously very severe.
Apply the product in any situation to stimulate the turf plant in making new, strong roots, however especially recommended to apply before laying turf rolls, as the naturally derived phosphorus in the product will enhance the root system earlier.
To enhance the outcome further, we also recommend applying our biological mycorrhiza product TourTurf® MPT Mycorrhizae Plant & Turf Activator at the same time.
The added natural soil microorganisms, include several common bacteria and fungal species that have critical functions in maintaining optimum soil health. The blended consortia of specific microbes each play individual roles in the establishment of a healthy soil microflora.
Bacteria, such as the included Bacillus spp. can enhance plant growth, by both plant stimulation and soil nutrient solubilisation, as well as promoting soil organic matter decomposition and aggregation for a healthy soil. Pseudomonas, another bacteria species, joins the bacillus in out-competing pathogenic microbial organisms.

Amino acids are the building blocks for plant proteins. The plant will combine amino acids to form pep-tide chains and later complex proteins. All the processes in the plant like tissue development, growth, recovery from injury and self-defence require proteins.
The turf plant can synthesise all the needed amino acids from the mineral nutrients it takes in. But the plant can absorb amino acids through the roots as well, saving the energy to produce them itself, espe-cially in times of plant stress.
Over time, microorganisms in the rootzone will break down amino acids into their components, making nutrients readily plant available.
