TourTurf® Organic High N

TourTurf® Organic High N is a mini-granule of 100% organic N-K fertiliser. The content of nitrogen (N) is derived from waste products that still have a high protein and organic carbon residue, which breakdown together to consistently release nitrogen to the soil. The dust-free, homogeneous mini-granules have a low odour and spread very evenly, giving a consistent plant colour in all turfgrass species.
The product contains circular plant residues, including extracts of vinasse, meal from cocoa shells and pressed grape seeds, as well as animal byproducts in the form of hair and feather meal.
Owing to the high levels organic matter content, when applied to soil the microbial populations will be stimulated to breakdown the plant and animal proteins. This will release nitrogen, which is steadily made available to the plants, whilst simultaneously adding carbon to the soil, enriching the humic content and improving its structure.
Additionally, this increased microbial stimulation will naturally activate grass roots to release exudates which in turn will release other soil-bound nutrients, such as phosphate and other micronutrients from the organic matter.
About 50% of a plant is made up of carbon, mostly synthesised from CO2 during photosynthesis. Carbon is the basis for all building blocks of life and essential for healthy soils.

Amino acids / Proteins:
Amino acids are the building blocks for plant proteins. The plant will combine amino acids to form peptide chains and later complex proteins. All the processes in the plant like tissue development, growth, recovery from injury and self-defence require proteins.
The turf plant can synthesise all the needed amino acids from the mineral nutrients it takes in. But the plant can absorb amino acids through the roots as well, saving the energy to produce them itself, especially in times of plant stress.
Over time, microorganisms in the rootzone will break down proteins into amino acids and amino acids into their components, making nitrogen readily plant available.
TourTurf® Organic High N is produced from materials and by-products that are being reused as part of the circular economy, making good use of valuable resources, reducing waste, and minimizing the carbon footprint.
The product is authorized for use in organic production in accordance with Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/1165 and Regulation (EU) 2018/848.
